Snakes invade Colorado tenants apartment

An Aurora, Colorado lady says dozens of snakes invaded her apartment after building renovations.

News channel FOX31 program The Problem Solvers was informed by the tenant that snakes have been getting into her house in the Fitzsimmons Junction Apartments since June 2 when balconies were renovated at the complex.

She says at least 25 snakes have slithered along baseboards and under furniture, inducing her to stay up for the majority of the night.

The Problem Solvers contacted the complex’s corporate office.
Representative Lauren Richardson clarified that a hole was discovered inside of a wall at the unit and has now been repaired.

Colorado’s regulation of habitability says landlords must offer a space that’s safe, clean and doesn’t pose health risks.
